P-assengers, we all know that the Covid-19 disease is still present in our daily lives. As a result, many new regulations are created to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, including vaccination regulations to protect our health.
After the vaccine for children over 12 years old began to be implemented last August, the government recently provided information about the first vaccine for children aged 6-11. They recommended vaccines for children aged 6-11 years because cases of children affected by Covid-19 increased after PTM-T. Even though children are less likely to experience severe conditions such as contracting Covid-19, they can still spread the virus even if they don’t feel the symptoms.
As reported by Kompas.com, our Ministry of Health informs that the Covid-19 vaccine for children aged 6-11 years is likely to be held in early January 2022 as long as there is approval from BPOM and clinical trials. Furthermore, the Ministry of Health said there would be three types of Covid-19 vaccines for children aged 6-11 years, namely Sinovac, Sinopharm, and Pfizer.
The side effects of these vaccines are actually similar to other vaccines. There will only be mild side effects, such as pain at the injection site, headache, fever, and runny nose.
If all the requirements, regulations, and preparation processes go smoothly, vaccines for children aged 6-11 years will be given as soon as possible in early January. We must always support all efforts provided by the government to suppress Covid-19 cases in Indonesia by following all existing recommendations.
Therefore, from now on, we can start spreading the news about the Covid-19 vaccine for children aged 6-11 years to the surrounding community and invite children to receive the latest Covid-19 vaccine, which the government will soon give. Thus, by participating in disseminating information and educating the public, we have contributed to preventing the spread of Covid-19.
That’s the latest information about the Covid-19 vaccine for children 6-11 years. Continue to spread this newest information, invite many people to contribute, and don’t forget to take care of your health. See you in the following article P-assengers!
