Days Of Future Past

So, hello! 2015 has been a great, incredible, memorable, and THE BOMB.COM year isn’t it? We have achieved a lot of things this year, and we should give ourselves a high five *high five!*. 2015 has been great and also a fresh start. We all have an awesome experience in 2015, which I think we could learn something from that. Since I don’t have lot of things to say.. let’s start!

  1. Appreciate The Time.
Don’t you realize how many times that you’ve wasted? A lot of course. And from all the experience that I had in 2015, don’t ever waste any time….ever. Like doing something that is unnecessary, and not important at all. The thing is, you should appreciate the time, just like what Gwen Stacy said in her Valedictorian Speech (cheers to all the Spider-Man’s fans!) “time is luck, and  not to waste it to living someone else’s life.”, which I think we do a lot of the time,  by comparing ourselves to other people, trying to follow our parents’ footsteps or a friend that did something, and thinking that you need to be something that  you’re not. So, all you need to do is doing something that would lead you to a better future.
  2. Be Yourself.
Discover who you are, be yourself is all that matters. Oscar Wilde once said: Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. Well, that’s obviously the truth. Yet, you can’t be yourself if you don’t know, understand, and accept yourself first. Find the time to learn everything about yourself, try to think about what kinds of things you would or you wouldn’t like to do, treat yourself well, and don’t be fake. Remember, no one knows you better than yourself.
  1. Take Care Of Your Health.
Okay, this is one of the most important things; taking care of your health. We all know what to do. Eat properly, exercise, consume lots of vitamin, and also try to get some sleep. We averaged almost 8 hours of sleep a night (7 to 9 hours per night are what’s generally recommended). Less than that? Well, there would be so many horrible things that happen if you don’t get enough sleep, such as headaches, weight gain; people who are lack of sleep seem more cravings for high-calorie foods. Colds; if you’re wondering why you’re sick all the time, it’s probably because you’re not getting enough sleep. And even Death. We all die eventually but, sleeping too little or too much may cause a higher risk of dying sooner than you otherwise might.
  1. Be Grateful.
It’s very necessary to Be Grateful. When you’re having a particularly difficult time, find the smallest thing that you can be grateful for. For example; care for those in need, cherish what you have right now because no one will be as lucky as you are, and always spend a little time each day reflecting on the things you’re most grateful for during that day. And be grateful is also the way to lead you to happiness, because happiness is your ultimate goal 🙂.
  2. It’s Always Okay To Take A Little Break.
Yap, you don’t need to study and stuffs 24/7. Always spare your time to do what you like, have a conversation with your family and friends, and basically just do everything that you would love to do.

And since we’ve been talking about the past, let’s talk about something that we can do in the future!

  1. Say Nice Things
Complimenting is one of the best and easiest gift that we could give to someone. And you can do this simply everyday. Just say nice things to someone, it makes you and the other person feel better. You know, they probably in a bad mood and a compliment would make their day.
  2. Be More Creative
Try to create something new, something unique, and even something that doesn’t make sense lol. Try to be as creative as possible. And most important, don’t copy someone else’s work, and claim it as yours;).
  3. To-Do List
This is what most people do to achieve their goals. If you haven’t written down your To-Do list in a few years before, then go create one now for the next year. With To-Do List, you could simply know what to do.

That’s all (in Miranda Priestly’s way). Hope 2016 will be another greatest year we will experience :).
