What about perfectionism? Perfectionism is the personality of someone who does not accept that they have flaws because they have high self-standards. It may sound like a good thing, but if done to excess can cause anxiety and even slow down the work.
So, what’s the difference? The difference between OCD and perfectionism can be seen from the sufferer’s perspective on the actions they take. People with OCD, know that what they are doing is wrong and want to stop but can’t. While perfectionists will not feel guilty for their actions. Because usually, their actions have become habits that make them comfortable.
